Shipping Policy

Reuse Medical ships pre-owned medical equipment and parts from our facility in Fresno, California. The following policy outlines our order processing timelines, domestic and international shipping options, and how we handle shipping-related issues.

Order Processing

Order cut-off time: Orders placed after 2:00 PM PST will begin processing the following business day.

Processing time: All orders are processed within 1–3 business days of order confirmation. For pre-owned medical equipment that requires final inspection and packaging preparation, processing may take up to 3 business days.

Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or U.S. public holidays. If your order is significantly delayed due to high order volume or unexpected circumstances, we will notify you by email or telephone.

Note for large or bulk orders: Multi-unit orders or orders requiring special crating may require additional preparation time beyond the standard processing window. Our team will contact you to confirm the timeline before your order ships.

Domestic Shipping (United States)

We ship to all 50 U.S. states via FedEx and UPS. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on item weight, dimensions, and destination.

Delivery estimates begin from the date of shipment, not the date of order. Transit times are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed, particularly during peak periods or adverse weather conditions.

Packaging Standards

All pre-owned medical equipment is professionally packaged before shipping to ensure it arrives in the condition described in the listing. Our packaging standards include:

  • Foam padding and protective wrap for fragile electronic components
  • Anti-static packaging materials for all sensitive electronic equipment
  • Custom crating or palletisation for large, heavy, or irregularly shaped equipment
  • Moisture-resistant outer packaging for international shipments
  • Photographic documentation of item condition before sealing, retained for 30 days

All shipments include the relevant documentation — inspection report, packing list, and any compliance certificates — enclosed within the package.

Shipment Confirmation & Tracking

You will receive a shipment confirmation email once your order has shipped, containing your tracking number(s) and a link to track your package. Tracking information is typically active within 24 hours of the shipping confirmation email.

For freight or LTL shipments, a freight tracking number or Bill of Lading number will be provided. You may need to contact the freight carrier directly for detailed tracking on large equipment shipments.

Damaged Shipments

We photograph all items before packaging and sealing. Despite this, damage can occasionally occur in transit. If your order arrives damaged:

  • Contact us at info@reuse-medical.com within 48 hours of delivery
  • Include photos of the damaged item and the external packaging
  • Do not discard any packaging materials — these are required for carrier damage claims
  • Do not install or attempt to use the damaged item before contacting us

We will work with the carrier on your behalf to resolve the claim and arrange a replacement, repair, or refund as appropriate.

International Shipping

Reuse Medical ships pre-owned medical equipment to over 40 countries worldwide. International shipping is available via air freight and sea freight depending on the destination, order size, and agreed Incoterms.

Transit time estimates for international shipments begin from the date of dispatch from our Fresno facility. Customs clearance at the destination country can add 3–10 additional business days depending on the country, port, and customs authority workload.

Customs, Duties & Import Taxes

Unless otherwise agreed in writing under DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) Incoterms, all customs duties, import taxes, VAT, and any other fees imposed by the destination country's customs authority are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Reuse Medical has no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.

We prepare all required U.S. export documentation — commercial invoice, packing list, Certificate of Origin, and EEI/AES filing — for every international shipment. Visit our International Sales page for full details on our export documentation services.

Freight & Large Equipment Delivery

Large or heavy equipment — such as surgical tables, hospital beds, imaging equipment, and autoclaves — may be shipped via LTL freight. For freight shipments:

  • A member of our team will contact you to arrange delivery scheduling with the freight carrier
  • Freight deliveries are typically curbside — the carrier will not bring the item inside your facility unless liftgate or inside delivery services are arranged and paid for in advance
  • Please ensure someone is present to sign for the delivery and inspect the shipment before the driver departs
  • Any visible damage to crating or packaging should be noted on the delivery receipt before signing
